Over the Summer, Dubai Health Authority used Twitter to send out health tips for Muslims fasting during the Holy Month. While they focused mostly on giving out general Ramadan health tips, they also interacted with users by answering specific health questions.
It was an extremely successful and popular way for the DHA to connect with residents in Dubai (as well as the rest of the Twitterverse). So successful that they’ve decided to host weekly Twitter chats starting in September.
Every Thursday health experts from Dubai Health Authority will be on hand to answer questions and provide general health tips. Tweets are sent out in Arabic and English.
